
I have two recipes for prawn cocktail. Nice as a starter, serve chilled with white wine.
| Ingredients |
| Approx 3x 150 g prawns (or 400g) |
| Iceberg lettuce (or the inner core of a normal lettuce) |
| Mayonnaise (diet) 5-6 tablespoons |
| Tomatpurée (or tomato juice) + milk (1 tablespoon purée or 2 teaspoons concentrate) |
| 1-2 teaspoon Worcester sauce |
| 1 teaspoon Cognac |
| Salt, pepper |
| Optionally 1 teaspoon chopped parsley |
This is Maxim’s prawn cocktail in my mum’s interpretation. Just make the sauce, and serve in individual portions of lettuce, prawns and sauce.

| 150g mayonnaise (diet) |
| 9% cream |
| 2-3 tablespoones tomato juice |
| 2 teaspoons English sauce |
| 2-2 1/2 teaspoons cognac |
| Salt, pepper |
Same procedure as above. Serves 6-7.
